Sony Park Mini EXPT. 05

Sony Park Mini EXPT. 05 (2022)

Can people adapt to irrational laws of physics?

Sony Park Mini EXPT. 05 "AP" is an experimental project that explores how people adapt to environments with altered physics. The installation creates a space where familiar physical laws are subtly changed, challenging visitors' perceptions and testing their adaptability.

In this experiment, I was responsible for designing the interactive elements and developing the technology that created the altered physics environment. Using a combination of sensors, projection mapping, and real-time physics simulations, we created an immersive experience that felt both familiar and disorienting.

The project was exhibited at Sony Park Mini in Tokyo in 2022, where visitors could experience firsthand how their minds and bodies adapted to these subtle changes in physical reality. The experiment provided valuable insights into human perception, adaptability, and the relationship between our expectations and physical reality.
